An online component to any travel program allows for full coordination of all travel activity and expenses. With any degree of travel cost, it is essential to manage these expenses. ctms has recently negotiated a global licensing agreement with KDS to sell, design, and operate our PlanIT on-line System anywhere in the world. We are eager to discuss opportunities with our clients to build and maintain best-in-class travel programs.

Here are some highlights of our PlanIT program:

SITE CONFIGURATION
One of the most important aspects of the PlanIT system is the flexibility of its process configuration. The site will support 11 languages and 170 currencies, with users able to select their own display settings. PlanIT can accept different forms of payment for different service types (eg. one credit card for airfare, another for hotel and car guarantees). PlanIT can link back to company intranets for travel resources (eg. policies, manuals), and is currently the only online portal that can accommodate the Air Canada Flight Pass and the various attributes for flight customization such as seat selection or declined frequent flyer points. With full customization available for logos, color branding, and key terms, the various regional sites for your company will retain a familiar "look and feel".

POLICY COMPLIANCE
The Visual Guilt and Lost Savings Reporting features can influence buying behavior, as they highlight price comparisons with the best negotiated fare, the lowest refundable fare, low cost carrier (or other programmed target). ctms Travel manages the travel approval process by advising travelers when they are out of policy, and generating reports for the travel manager to review. In addition to programming specific policy for use by lead ctms travel counselors, these parameters are also built into the PlanIT online booking tool to maintain and streamline travel restrictions.

INVENTORY DISPLAY
When conducting trip research online, travel coordinators can operate exclusively within the PlanIT environment, accessing all available inventories without having to search multiple websites. Connections into the ctms Global Distribution System (GDS) and direct connectivity (API) links to airlines ensure that comprehensive schedule and fare information for available flights are shown on an integrated display. Results can be quickly compared, resorted, and selected, and can be configured to designate corporate policy parameters.

REDUCED COST
In addition to lower transaction fees per bookings, travel coordinators will be trained on PlanIT to leverage the intuitive features. Once an itinerary has been built, it can be duplicated in another traveler's name for additional reservations in a matter of seconds. Also, frequent trips can be stored as templates, to be used as foundations for future travel, where dates and travelers can be selected with only a few mouse clicks and travel reservations can be made in minutes. Along with reduced service fees, cost savings will be realized by maximizing employee time and resources.
