Visas Vietnam

The majority of people visiting Vietnam need a visa:

WHICH TYPE OF VISA DO I NEED?

VISA TYPE
BUSINESS VISA	If you are expecting to undertake business we recommend that you travel on a Business visa.
TOURIST VISA	If you are simply travelling as a tourist, visiting an exhibition or sporting event, for example, and not conducting business, you can travel on a tourist visa.

Required documents are:

1. Original PASSPORT whose validity must exceed that of the visa by at least one month
2. One completed APPLICATION FORM (attached)
3. One passport-type PHOTOGRAPH taken not more than one year ago
4. For a business visa - SUPPORTING DOCUMENT – confirmation from your inviting party in Vietnam, or your company, stating the purpose of visit and duration of stay in Vietnam
5. The Embassy may request further supporting documents and will contact you if necessary

Notes:

• All required fields in the application form must be filled in with “care and precision”. For Name and contact in Vietnam, please provide the name of the first accommodation or the name of your acquaintance or business.
• Visa dates are not flexible. A visa will be valid from the entry date to the exit date as printed. You can visit and stay in Vietnam any time between these two dates only.

If you're based in the UK we can lodge your application at the Vietnamese Consulate in London.
