Visas Pakistan

You will Need a visa for Pakistan unless you are a citizen of one of the following countries:

Iceland, Maldives, Nepal, Trinidad and Tobago, Tonga, Western Samoa, Zambia

Indian Passport holders are required to apply in person for all types of visas.

Types of Pakistan Visas:

Tourist Visas: Tourist visas are issued at the discretion of the visa officer and are normally only issued for the dates of your planned visit however they can be issued for up to 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.

Business Visas: Business visas are issued at the discretion of the visa office and are normally only issued for the dates of your planned visit however they can be issued for up to 1 month, 3 months or 6 months.   

Transit Visas: Valid for up to 72 hours Transit visas are issued to those who are travelling to other countries through Pakistan.

There is only one service available for processing Pakistan visas and this takes 7 working days.

Remember to allow yourself enough time to obtain your visa and to make your travel arrangements 

To obtain your visa you will need to submit the following documents:

Passport
You need to lodge your actual passport, which will remain at the consulate until the visa is granted. Your passport should still be valid at least 6 months after your exit date from the country. Two empty pages are required to place the visa.

Passport - Type Photo 
Please provide 2 recent passport-type photos on a light or white background

Visa Application Form
One completed copy of the application form printed out on A4 paper and signed

Additional documents required

Transit Visa
If you are applying for a Transit visa you will need to show a valid onward visa and international air ticket to your country of destination.

Tourist Visa
You will need to provide:

A letter of invitation from, & passport copy of, the person you are staying with in Pakistan OR
an invitation from the hotel where you are staying AND
Your last three months bank statements AND
A letter of reference from your work, college or school AND
A copy of your travel itinerary

Business Visa  
You will need to provide a letter of invitation from the company in Pakistan AND
An original UK company letter confirming your visit to Pakistan AND
Your last three months bank statements

Other information       
All Non UK passport holders should have proof of their UK residence in their passports

If you intend to stay in Pakistan for more than 3 months then you will need to provide 5 passport type photos and 4 photocopies all your paperwork to apply for your visa
