Visas Belarus
You will Need a visa for Belarus unless you are a citizen of one of the following countries:
Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Malaysia, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Ukraine.
Types of Belarus Visas
Transit visa - valid for 1 year, allows up to 48 hours in Belarus.
Tourist visa - valid for 30 days, single or double entry
Private visa - valid for 90 days, single, double or multiple entries
Business visa - valid for 90 days
Student visa - valid for 30 days
Humanitarian visa - valid for 90 days
Multiple Business visa - commercial visit without intention to work, valid up to 90 days within a year
Long-term Business visa - commercial visit with intention to work, valid up to 90 days within a year
There are two services available for processing Belarus visas - a standard 5-working day service or an express 2-working day service.
Remember to allow yourself enough time to obtain your visa and to make your travel arrangements
To obtain your visa you will need to submit the follow documents:
Passport
You need to lodge your actual passport, which will remain at the Consulate until the visa is granted. Your passport should be valid for 90 days after your exit date from the country. Two empty pages are required to place the visa.
Passport-Type Photo
Please provide 1 recent, colour passport-type photo on a light or white background
Visa Application Form
The Belarus application form should be completed and signed by the applicant visa application form. If a question does not apply, please, write "n/a". Incomplete forms will be returned to the applicants unprocessed.

Transit Visa
If you are applying for a Transit visa you will need to show a valid onward visa and international air ticket to your country of destination.
Tourist visa
You will need to provide a copy of a tourist voucher with a covering letter from a Belarusian travel agency confirming your stay in Belarus. We are able to assist you with the tourist voucher.
Tourist visa support
We can provide a single or double entry Belarus tourist visa support letter with an overall validity of one month for £65.00 the visa support letter takes 2 working days to process.

Business visa
Citizens of the European Union states and also citizens of Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Qatar, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Republic of South Africa, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay and the USA, who intend to stay in the Republic of Belarus for up to 30 days do not need to provide letters of invitation although the inviting organization, contact name, address and telephone number must still be clearly indicated on the visa application form.
If you are not a citizen of one of the countries listed above or you intend to visit for more than 30 days then you will need to supply a Business letter from an organization in Belarus, the inviting organization must be registered as a legal entity by the Belarusian authorities. It should be printed on the official letterhead with a registration number, date of issue, and should bear the signature of an official and a corporate seal. It should also indicate the expected duration of the applicant's stay in Belarus. The inviting party must provide written guarantees that the invitee will abide by the rules and regulations applied to foreign citizens in the Republic of Belarus.
Please note that requests by local offices of international companies or banks in Belarus, as well as private entrepreneurs will be invalid as, according to Belarusian regulations, they do not have the status of a legal entity in Belarus.
Private visa
Citizens of the European Union states and also citizens of Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Brazil, Canada, Chile, Croatia, Iceland, Israel, Japan, Republic of Korea, Kuwait, Liechtenstein, Monaco, New Zealand, Norway, Oman, Qatar, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Republic of South Africa, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay and the USA, who intend to stay in the Republic of Belarus for a period less than 30 days do not need to provide letters of invitation. Still, the inviting person or organization and their address must be indicated on the visa application form.
Other documents required:
If the applicant previously had USSR or Belarusian citizenship, he or she must submit the document proving when they lost their USSR or Belarusian citizenship.
Valid medical insurance is required for all foreign citizens travelling to the Republic of Belarus (except for British citizens). Applicants should not submit their insurance certificate to the Embassy. It should be presented to the immigration officer when entering Belarus. Medical insurance is not required for the holders of Belarusian transit visas travelling to other countries via Belarus.
At the border point of Belarus all foreign nationals are required to fill in a migration card and submit it to the immigration officer.

REGISTRATION IN BELARUS
Upon arrival in Belarus visitors are required to register at the local citizenship and migration office of the Ministry of Interior of Belarus within 5 business days. Thereafter, local police authorities will issue a registration stamp, which will be attached to the visitor’s passport. If the visitor is staying in a hotel, this will be arranged by the hotel services (reception bureau).

If there is no Belarusian Embassy or Consulate in the country you are leaving, and you are travelling by plane, it is possible to obtain a visa on arrival at Minsk National Airport. However, you should be aware that the fees are more expensive for visas on-arrival: $234 for a transit visa and $342 for a short-term visa.
